The Twin City Blue Raiders, Semi Pro Football Team for Leominster & Fitchburg

2011 is right around the corner and with every new year comes change: there is a new semi-pro football team coming to the Fitchburg-Leominster area. The team is already established and will be contending in the Eastern Football League.

The Eastern Football League just completed its 50th year of operation, making the league one of the longest running adult semi-pro leagues in the country. Since 1961 athletes from all levels of experience ranging from high-school to pro have lined the fields and battled it out while competing for the E.F.L. Crown. This League is currently comprised of 16 teams in the New England area including our newest team to the area, the Twin City Blue Raiders!

Football has been a staple to the Twin Cities area dating back to the 1890's. The Twin City Blue Raiders owners, coaches and players will work together on and off the field to bring competitive, disciplined and hard hitting football to Doyle Field.
